Meet the Founder

Hi love! My name is Chanel, I am the Founder & CEO, of Raya Beauty Co. I want to introduce myself for those of you who don’t know me. I am a Mother, a Business Owner, Licensed Esthetician, and Certified Lash Artist. I am determined to help Beauty Professionals incorporate eco-friendly tools into their lash studios and also be a resource for low waste and recycling solutions.

I created Raya Beauty Co. after being in the Beauty Industry for 12 years. Over the years, I have specialized in bridal makeup, waxing and lash extensions. After opening my own lash studio in 2014, I began to focus only on eyelash extensions, perfecting my technique and eventually teaching other Lash Artists in the San Francisco Bay Area.

It was then, I realized how much plastic & waste was thrown away after each client. I knew I had to create a Beauty Platform to spread awareness about single-use plastics and be a resource for low-waste tips and recycling solutions for the Beauty Industry. That’s when Raya Beauty Co. was born.

From the passion of teaching, my lash studio and the love of our planet, I am moving forward into the Lash Industry to offer eco-friendly bamboo lash supplies for Beauty Professionals. The Beauty Industry has been my life for years. I want to help Lash Artists build successful lash businesses, so that they can provide the best services for their clients with the planet in mind too!

Thank you for helping stop the spread of single-use plastic disposables in the Beauty Industry. Let’s not forget about Mother Earth too, she needs to be pampered just as much as we do.
